Thanksgiving...
I didn't get a chance to post because we surprised Chris's family in Oregon for Thanksgiving. It was a blast! We got to hang out, eat lots of good food, see the gorgeous new house, shop, and the guys got to watch a TON of football! So here are a couple of pictures of the weekend. Thanks again Em and Nyle for letting us come!
Cam loved the boys old cars to play in!
Finally Cam and Charlie meet! Cam LOVED Charlie and wanted his attention most of the time. When we were in the house and Charlie was outside he would yell from the window...hello Charlie...run fast Charlie...go get it...and so on.
Can you tell on his face how much he liked him?
Sydney, Chris, and Cam chasing Charlie to get the ball to throw again....some how I think Charlie understood this game way better than the other three :)
This is the "Harry Potter Room." It's under the stairs with a little door that was just the right size for Cam to LOVE! The kids are all smashed in there together watching Cars on the dvd player. They were all SO cute together.
The boys were feeding their friends cows while they were gone so they took Cam with one night! He came home Moo'ing for quite a while!
Syd helped out at the farm too
The kids, Patti, and I made a gingerbread house one night. It turned out really cute!

Silly Guy....
Cam thinks he is SO funny! Most of the day he's trying to get my attention or make me laugh which is a lot of fun. When he does get a reaction....he sticks with it until I won't laugh anymore! So here's the little man....
AHHH! Baby Syndrome (from the Incredibles)
Goofy Clown
And for some reason the toothbrush is funny and entertaining to him! He wants to be just like my mom with the electric toothbrush. He tries to go and brush his teeth every 10 minutes (be proud grampy be very proud)!

Alright....

So I was tagged by Cori for "things I was doing 10 years ago" and now Leca with "7 things about me" so here goes...

1. Chris's family has pointed out that I have some "different" words for things such as a musk melon is a honey dew, a stop and go light is just a stop light, a billy goat is just a goat, and the rest of them I can't write because it's just the way I pronounce stuff funny like bagel, bag, Wisconsin, no, the list goes on and on!

2. I fully enjoy check lists. Sometimes I write them (even when the stuff is already done) just so that I can have the satisfaction of crossing things off the list.

3. Before I go to bed I resort back to my childhood every stinkin night! My mom always made sure that we didn't have to go to the bathroom AT ALL before we got into bed. The same thing still applies today...I have to try at least 2-3 times before I can get into bed even if it's really late and I am tired...I know it's REALLY strange but hey no accidents so far! :)

4. I absolutely CAN NOT watch TV or a movie with the lights off! My parents taught me years ago that it's really bad. So now even though I am married I still can't sit and watch anything with the lights off!

5. There is only one place in the whole world that makes as wonderful treats as a little bakery in my town called Lakeland Bakery and no matter how old I get I still love to go in there with my money in hand and see how much stuff I can get!

6. It makes me so happy when I can find the cheapest gas in town and get all filled up before the gas prices go up again (yes I am the worlds cheapest person EVER). I'll even drive across town for cheaper gas.

7. I love getting dirty working on projects with my dad. I especially like it when I get to run the skid steer and I come inside smelling like diesel and whatever else we were working with!

So there you have it 7 weird and interesting things about me! I'm not going to call people out but if you read this and you want to continue the list be my guest! Now PLEASE stop tagging me...I'm really not that interesting!

We're back....
Cam and I had a great time at home this past week. Although he was a little to excited to be there because he would wake up around 4:30 in the morning asking to see grampy and grammy (so I would try to get him back to sleep) then around 6 we would go and watch TV in the family room until people started waking up at normal times!!! So Cam took a GREAT nap this afternoon to hopefully get some more rest!
Cam and Grampy working outside

Happy Birthday to Me...
Normally I wouldn't be doing a post all about me but, yesterday was my birthday and since Chris isn't with us he asked me to take pictures of the event. So here are a few from last nights big party with the kids!
Zoey made me a card with a game inside that she made up (it's suppose to help teach more adding and subtracting)
Em enjoying all the action! the kids even sang me a song they were learning from church
Breckyn homemade me 7 different presents. These 3 are the thunder cat she made, card (which included a drawn picture of her and I), and a picture of the flowers she would bought me if she had enough money!
These are the roses Chris sent
Cam was on clean-up duty! He thought it was pretty cool to run the vacuum all by himself!
Max also got me a cool bowl for my birthday! Well, he came running over to me with a bag when everyone was giving me my presents all excited that he had gotten this just for me (to bad I already recognized the bowl since I had bought it myself that afternoon...I know minor detail....it's the thought that counts....smart kid!)
It was a great birthday! Thanks!

Cam's BIG day....
Cam LOVES any sort of big equipment like a backhoe, skid steer, dump truck...just to name a few. Where ever we go he points them out to us. So my dad and I thought it would be fun to take him out to my Uncle's shop to see some equipment in person! Let's just say Cam was SO excited to see it all up close (I think it might have been one of the best days of his little life). So here he is in all his glory with the machines!
My dad brought the backhoe home to play with
Grampy's little helper

Up close...
Before he got to ride the backhoe
(sorry my pictures got out of order)
Dump Truck (one of his personal favorites)
Making their way into the shop to see MORE equipment...
On top of the flat bed semi trailer (that hauls the excavator)
Inside the semi!
Forklift...
The skid steer...
The men ready to start work at the job site!
Grampy showing him all the controls
Way to go boys!
Grampy has been giving Cam rides in the laundry basket and he LOVES it!
The rest of the day he's been chanting...."thank you backhoe...thank you grampy"...and on and on
Thanks Grampy!

WISCONSIN!
Cam and I got to come home for a visit for my birthday this week!
Cam checkin out the pond
Grandma and Cam went to the pond today to feed the fishy
Ever since we built our houses by the pond we feed the fish. So now when they see people coming by the pond they swim to the edge. (I know most people feed the ducks but not us!)
Cam and Grammy on the swing
Cam was a big helper to grampy today
Rugs and Em walking Cam around to make sure he was "safe"
the boys!!!
Max is so sweet, he picked me a leaf (since there are definately no flowers alive around here anymore)
Princess Chloe!
Cam found the best possible spot at my parents house to watch TV!
