Daddy Time....

I know another Sunday picture but I just love it when he gets dressed up! You can tell he's less than thrilled to have me taking yet another picture of him! Like the look I'm getting?!?
I thought we moved away from cold weather!

Saturday we got SNOW!!! We were suppose to go to the U of U game with some friends but it was so cold and nasty out we had to call it off! But then today by about 1 o'clock it was almost 70! I thought Wisconsin had weird weather!

Daddy Time...
Cam is back into his daddy phase again! I thought it was over this past week but it's back in full force since about Thursday. He wants daddy all the time so this weekend I thought I would take some pics of them together hanging out.

Cam is getting a little too use to the camera because every time I bring it out he instantly says CHEESE!!! He's also brought me the camera the last couple of days and said cheese momma cheese momma! So here's the little ham the past few days.

We had a great day today...it started out with real potty action (not just sitting on it!!!) We are NOT potty training yet but hey it sure made my day!

Cam found a new friend tonight at Erin and Ryan's house (I don't think that the feeling were mutual!) Poor Chuck was a good sport all night while Cam chased him around meowing and squaking at him! This is just about how the whole night went...

My sister Aleca calls Cam "turtle" because most of the time he does things at his own speed...which is usually really slowly! So I was at Old Navy last night and they had this shirt that says turtle tune-up and has a speedometer and all...so Lec this shirts just for you!!!

Cam still thinks it is SO funny to fake sleep to get a laugh out of me (he's right it works every time). He does it when I go to get him out of his car seat or when I ask him to smile....today was no different! Cheri and I were trying to get him to smile for a picture next to the chalk drawings we did today and of course we got....the sleeper face!

Cam has realized that Chris and I call each other "honey" a fare amount (which I've never noticed). So the last few days when he goes to bed or down to nap we tuck him in and tell him it's time to sleep and then we leave. Well, his response is...."honey, honey, honey, honey" over and over again until one of us comes in. Even this morning he didn't just come in to our room when he woke up he sat on his bed yelling "honey, honey, honey" until I stopped laughing and came in to get him! I have to admit it's pretty funny to hear it come out of a little guys mouth! Once again he finds another way to make me laugh (it's ok I know he totally works me over)!

Upside Down...

I thought this picture was pretty funny. I went in to tuck Cam in for his nap the other day and I found him upside down with his bum on the pillow and head angled way down on the bed! He is such a squirmer....but hey if he's asleep I'll take it!!!

State Fair...
Against everything that I was taught....we went to the state fair this weekend. My family has a serious hatred for the fair but I thought we should take Cam any way so he could experience it. Since I don't live in Wisconsin any more I can't tell Leca's kids all about it and then have them beg her to go and then I say..."oh I'll take them" (making me the best Aunt ever!). Although Leca did let them go they had to go through a list of things to do, people not to talk to, etc. One year she had prepped them and Breckyn pipes up in the middle of a large group of people..."these people don't look freaky and crazy like my mom said!" Yeah, it was really embarrassing! Anyways, this year we went with our friends Ian and Buffy and their two little girls. It was lots of fun!

Who knew that Thomas could be such a useful toy...I guess I was cleaning for to long this morning and he was sick of asking for help!

Cam is very intent on the wiggles and what they are up to....especially since one is named Jeff like his Uncle!

I shouldn't wonder any more where Cam gets his sense of humor. It seems that he and Chris are both always wanting a laugh and some attention...I asked Chris to vacuum the family room and when I came back in he was smooshed into Cam's sunglasses laughing to himself about how funny he is! You gotta love him!

Cam thought it was so funny today to get in the jogger stroller like this today instead of actually sitting in his seat. So Chris took him for a little jog down the side walk and back!Now he's ready to get outta there!

We are SO excited! Our friends Cambry and Brent were chosen to adopt a beautiful little baby boy! He was born yesterday at 5:34 p.m. 6 1/2 lbs. 20 1/2 inches long. His name is Oliver (isn't that so cute?) We can't wait to see him in person and hold him! Yeah!!!

Growing...

I went to go pick up pizza tonight and I left Chris in charge of Cam's bath. I came home to find him in polar bear winter pj's with a lightning Mcqueen t-shirt over the top and spiderman slippers on! Chris was SO proud that Cam looked so cute...yikes! (Beth at least when you take pictures of the girls they dressed themselves goofy without any help from Kyle!!!) I was trying stuff on Cam to see what fits for this fall. The verdict is in...he's to big for the chicken outfit this year!
Then we tried to squeeze his winter hat on from last year! It took some serious pulling to get it on and off but it gave us all a good laugh!

Cheri's dog Blue was back today for a visit so Cam and I went over to take him for a walk while Jeff was at work. Well, I should probably let you know that we have been putting Cam on the potty before his bath and making a really big deal when he sits on it (you know clapping and cheering). Well today we were walking along when Blue decides to "do his business." I try to look off the other way pretending that I don't see him doing it in someone else's yard....while Cam notices what's going on and starts clapping his hand and CHEERING YEAH! for Blue for going potty!!! Yeah there's no way that I can claim I didn't see him do it now....We might have to rethink our excitement with potty time!

Once again Cam is watching video's of Em!

After that we moved on to swimming. We got all ready and took Cam down to the pool and there was a sign that said no kids under 5 could swim because of some nasty stuff going around through the pools! Yuck! So we went to Cheri's house and used our pool...

Things got a little cramped in the pool SO...Cam took matters into his own hands! Then they both thought it was hysterical
Then it was payback time!!!
We ended the day at Target and since we are all so excited that college football season started we even found USC colored tic tacs....the boys are now ready to watch their first game of the season! Yikes!
