The Hogle Zoo...
Today the boys and I went on a family outing to the Zoo. It was Cam's first time and he really liked it (except that it was SO hot out). Here are quite a few pictures from today and I will post a video later. The big exhibit there right now was the white alligator "the ghost of the bayou" and I have to admit it was pretty cool to see a white alligator!
They keep him indoors because aparently the most deadly thing to him is a sunburn
(You know what that's like Erin....right? Love ya!)
We watched a show at the elephant tent
Of course we stopped at everything to see it up close!
The zoo had a really cool 2 story look out section in the giraffe building so they are really close!
Cam really liked the little wildcats
Cheese!!!
Our little Gorilla
What's a trip to the Zoo without a ride on the train?
Chris can never pass up a train!

Hey, that zoo looks a lot cooler than what I'd heard. I bet Cam had the time of his life! Now he's going to be handing you your shoes and chanting, "zoo, zoo!" How many times did you let Chris ride the train? Did he cry when he had to get off? :)

Glad you guys had such a fun day!

If you are trying to get a job with National Geographic-- I'm pretty sure shots at the zoo don't count! I love the one of Cam and the wild cats (he's totally going to like High school musical). The train was funny-- I'm sure Coco was the one crying when it was time to go home.

thank you for the whitey reference, but i guess i deserved it after the scared of heights pictures i took of you guys. i love the zoo...although i don't think i have ever been to the zoo in Ute. I saw a white croc in KY when we went there too...totally cool!
