Blankie #2
The other day I made Coop a new blankie but Cam wanted to know why he didn't go to the fabric store and pick out stuff for him! Well, Wednesday night we headed to the store. Cam was hilarious picking out fabrics because he wanted purple satin and yellow flannel and a whole bunch of other weird fabrics but.....
It came down to this! He picked BYU and USC and vehicle fabric (blue satin for the back). He LOVES it! That's what makes it worth all the time.
I did the fabric in 4 inch squares and then just made a fun pattern. Thanks again Patti for teaching me although now I have a new obsession!!!

It is DARLING! I love it. I would say I'm sorry, but I'M NOT!!! I love that you are enjoying your new hobby and you'll enjoy it for years! Cam couldn't be any cuter :) and I LOVE his fabric choices (as I'm sure his daddy does). LOVE you.

Nice work, Cass. You know you're making it look like a quilt takes 5 minutes to make. Two in one week? Wow, that's a lot to keep up with. Way to go! When do I get to go to the fabric store to pick out my fabric? I'm free all this week :)

Holy crapanonies! That is amazing! I can't believe you sewed all that. You've got to be having some sore fingers after that. Looks really good!

Really - how do you whip these things out so fast!! I have a quilt for my sister in law that's been sitting in my closet for 4 YEARS that's almost done but not! That looks like it'd be a ton of fun though! If you have secrets in how to make them, I'd love to know!

It looks very hard and confusing to put it all together. How do you do it? I really like the bright colors and different patterns. Coop is adorable.
