Apartment Living...
AAHHH Apartment living...there isn't really a way to describe it! Sometimes I come home and think I love our little home it's cute and quaint. Then other times when the neighbors are loud and rude and smoke so much you can smell it through the floor I start to count to days until I have my own little house! So today I was looking in the hall and decided I should let you all have a little taste of our apartment complex. It's made up of REALLY old people (who have invited me to play cards with them) and just a handful of younger party people. So we aren't allowed to have any pets here except a cat....yet the lady down the hall has a couple of cats that bark really loud....hmmm....anyone else ever met a cat that barks? She also has this rug outside her door...yeah it has dog bones on it too!
Moving on then we have the CRAZY lady down the hall that insists on putting all her crap right outside her door for everyone to see. Right now she has a giant oil painting with a huge gold frame around it and a wagon full of old newspapers. She however she was feeling a little bit festive and put this out as well for everyone to "enjoy" yeah not quite sure what to say are you? Well don't be expecting me to find out where she got it. I'm not knocking on that door if you pay me. (she also has tons of wind chimes, plants, and the round gazing balls on stands on the porch) yikes! (there is more to go with this post in the next post it was to big to do together)

That statue in the hall of Santa is really... so.. special. I hope no one tries to steal it. I'm sure it's worth a fortune... Or maybe $6.50 at Ross.
Your experiences brought back a flood of stories from our apartment living. We had a neighbor who yelled to his 10 year old son, "Billy,go roll me a joint". We had a neighbor lady who insisted on exercising in the nude. VERY UPSETTING to both Patti and I. Another neighbor lady thought she was going to be a counrty star and sang into a HUGE speaker system so we ALL could hear! Ah, what fun!!
This made me laugh out loud. I love the "cat" lady story. Does she think people are really that stupid? And the Santa.... wow! I don't really recall Chris being that UPSET about the lady exercising in the nude. Maybe my memory is failing me.

I'll let you to discuss the nude lady but as for the country singer I would DIE if she lived here! Yikes!

I think that Santa is breathtaking... maybe you should consider leaving something in the hall just to spice it up for your more choice neighbors. :)
